Differential Diagnosis of Stridor in Children

A common concern in children presenting to the emergency department, stridor can be caused by a structural problem, foreign body aspiration, or bacterial infection. Evaluating the age at onset of the stridor and the chronicity of the condition is key in determining treatment.
