Pelvic Fractures-Preventing Complications

Serious pelvic fractures are associated with a high mortality rate and must be managed effectively, given the high incidence of concurrent injuries to other organ systems. Patient stabilization, diagnostic imaging, and management of associated injuries are discussed.
