Paper Reflects Progress Toward Treating Appetite Issues in Prader-Willi Syndrome

A recent publication, “Medication Trials for Hyperphagia and Food-Related Behaviors in Prader-Willi Syndrome” by Jennifer Miller, MD, concludes that this is a time of hope for potential treatment of appetite issues in PWS, given that many patients are now diagnosed in infancy, and a combination of early intervention, growth hormone therapy and medication to decreased the appetite appears promising.
