The Caring for Carcinoid Foundation Is Now the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation

References

The Caring for Carcinoid Foundation has changed its name to Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation to better reflect current medical terminology and be more inclusive of all types of neuroendocrine cancer. The Foundation has also launched a new website. The Foundation funds neuroendocrine cancer research and provides information and other services for patients. Neuroendocrine tumors can occur throughout the body but primary sites include the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, rectum, lungs, and appendix.
