Dr. Kakhnovets is an assistant professor in the department of psychology at Auburn University at Montgomery, Alabama. Dr. Holohan is director of the Center for Traumatic Stress at the Salem VA Medical Center, Salem, Virginia.
Since the early 1990s, VA medical centers have expanded their services for sexual trauma, but offerings continue to vary widely across different facilities.
