A 20-year-old soldier presented to the emergency room with a 1-day history of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and fever of 102°F. He had recently arrived in San Antonio after extended training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He stated he had no abdominal pain, melena, or any sick contacts.
