Prolotherapy for Management of Myofascial Pain Syndrome

Myofascial pain syndrome (MPS) is a regional pain syndrome characterized by a trigger point in a taut band of skeletal muscle.(1) The key to identifying MPS in a patient is the presence of pain that radiates from the original trigger point in the muscle.
