Unified Lawsuit Filed for NFL Players with Brain Injuries

The suit alleges the National Football League failed to address the neurological risks of the sport.

A unified lawsuit has been filed in federal count on behalf of more than 2,000 National Football League players. The suit alleges that the NFL failed to take steps to respond to the neurological risks associated with the sport, according to attorneys representing former players.

"Instead of protecting the health of its players, the NFL's response to this epidemic of brain injuries was to engage in a campaign of deceit and deception, actively concealing the risks players faced from repetitive impacts," said Christopher Seeger and Sol Weiss, attorneys for the players.
