Low VWF levels or blood group O not linked to intracerebral hemorrhage risk

Key clinical point: Low levels of von Willebrand Factor and blood group O were not associated with a first intracerebral hemorrhage.

Major finding: The researchers found no association between blood group O and the risk of ICH.

Study details: A prospective, population-based study of 176 ICH cases and 349 age- and sex-matched controls.
