“Because nausea is associated with poor absorption of oral medications, neurologists should consider using nonoral treatments for migraine sufferers with persistent frequent nausea,” Dr. Lipton told Neurology Reviews. “Available options include shots and nasal sprays. Emerging options include inhalers and patches.”
