USPSTF: screen for ‘unhealthy’ alcohol use


 

The USPSTF advises primary care physicians to screen for unhealthy alcohol use. Also today, dialysis decisions in elderly patients need to account for comorbidities, chronic liver disease is independently linked to increased risk of falls, and barriers to naloxone remain, despite new access laws.
