State Health Insurance Exchanges: 2014 is Around the Corner

The US Supreme Court made the decision in June 2012 to uphold the majority of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) that Congress and the president enacted in 2010. The individual mandate is central to the broader picture of health care reform in the United States. A substantial part of the PPACA is the mandate to establish health insurance exchanges, or marketplaces, in all 50 states.
