The Corporate Data Warehouse helps physicians, clinicians, and researchers make sense of the vast amount of data input into the VA’s internal VistA system, according to Charlie Stroup, deputy director of national health systems for the VHA.
“The goal is to make the data available for folks to do their jobs,” Stroup said. “There is a tremendous amount of data in the Corporate Data Warehouse. The amount of data is doubling every 18 months, so we need to identify what that means and how it is useful.”
