Best Practices Lower Postsepsis Risk, but Only if Implemented
Key clinical point: Best practices in postsepsis care may lower mortality and readmission after hospitalization.
Major finding: Patients who received at least two of four types of recommended postsepsis care were less likely to die or be readmitted within 80 days than those who received zero or one.
