Depression Treatment Protocol
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's Center for Substance Abuse Treatment has published its Treatment Improvement Protocol 48, “Managing Depressive Symptoms in Substance Abuse Clients During Early Recovery.” The new protocol is aimed at answering questions that might be asked by substance abuse counselors working with client who have depressive symptoms and substance use disorders.
