Key clinical point: Pediatric cancer incidence in the United States has increased significantly in recent decades.

Major finding: From 2001 to 2014, there were 196,200 incident cases of pediatric cancer for an overall cancer incidence rate of 173 per 1 million.

Study details: A review of data from the United States Cancer Statistics for children under age 20.
