New radiomic model may improve prognostication in meningioma

Key clinical point: A novel radiomic model may improve prognostication and clinical decision-making by accurately predicting meningioma grade in patients with low- to high-grade disease.

Major finding: A model combining conventional MRI, apparent diffusion coefficient maps, and susceptibility weighted imaging was the best-performing model, with an area under the curve of 0.81 with subsampling and 0.84 without subsampling.

Study details: A retrospective analysis of 316 patients with meningioma who underwent preoperative MRI assessment.

Disclosures: No funding sources were reported. The authors reported having no conflicts of interest.
