Unique Mutations Differentiate Ovarian DLBCL From the Extranodal Form

Key clinical point: Ovarian and extranodal DLBCL show key similarities and differences in morphology, metabolism, and genotypes.

Major finding: NOTCH3 and HDAC4 mutations were found only in ovarian DLBCL but not in conventional DLBCL.

Study details: First time comparison of the clinical, morphological, immunohistochemical, and genotypic characteristics of 9 ovarian diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) cases to extranodal DLCBL controls.
