Combined Exercise Training Shows Benefit in Hemophilia A

Key clinical point: Combined exercise training was found to be the most effective strategy to reduce proinflammatory markers in overweight patients with moderate hemophilia A.

Major finding: There was a significant reduction in high-sensitive C‐reactive protein, IL‐6, and tumor necrosis factor–alpha in the combined training group versus the control group (P equal to or less than .02 for all three).

Study details: A randomized clinical trial of 48 patients with moderate hemophilia A.
