Protons Safe, Effective for Breast Cancer Control

Key clinical point: Proton beam therapy can effectively treat regional nodes while largely sparing cardiac tissues.

Major finding: There were no cases of grade 3 or greater radiation pneumonitis and no grade 4 toxicities.
