Novel Regimen Shows Higher Rates of GVHD in DLBCL
Key clinical point: A novel transplant protocol resulted in higher rates of severe acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) who underwent allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCT).
Major finding: At 6-months, the cumulative incidence rates of acute (grade 3-4) GVHD were 36.2% and 8.7% using R-BEAM or reduced intensity conditioning, respectively.
Study details: A retrospective case series of 70 patients with DLBCL who received allogeneic HCT.
