Native Americans at Increased Risk for AFib

Key clinical Atrial fibrillation was significantly more common among Native Americans than in other racial and ethnic groups.

Major finding: The overall incidence of atrial fibrillation in Native Americans was 7.49 per 1,000 person-years – significantly higher than the 6.89 per 1000 person-years observed in the rest of the cohort (P less than .0001)
