Most CBT delivery methods effective for depression

Key clinical point: Regardless of the delivery method, most forms of cognitive-behavioral therapy are effective for improving the severity of depression.

Major finding: Individual, group, telephone, and guided self-help cognitive-behavioral therapy all achieve significant improvements in depression, compared with controls.

Study details: A network meta-analysis of 155 trials involving 15,191 participants.
