Fewer than 20% of eligible children received the recommended two doses of flu vaccine
Key clinical point: Children who have received two doses of the influenza vaccine are better protected than are those who have received one dose.
Major finding: Of those who were fully vaccinated, 83% had received one dose in the current season, and 17% had received two doses.
Study details: Case-control study of 7,533 children.
